My Experience of Recognizing Plants in the Field

Last Sunday, I forced my father to come to the fields. The reason I joined was actually because I wanted to learn about the various kinds of plants in the field. It's true, I learned a lot and knew many things from the fields. My experience with the father was very pleasant and finally I was with my father having lunch under the hut in our field. When we enjoyed the lunch we felt happy because accompanied by the soothing breeze, the atmosphere became even more colorful.

Pengalamanku Mengenali Tumbuhan Di Ladang

Pada hari minggu kemarin, aku memaksa bapak untuk ikut ke ladang. Alasanku ikut sebenarnya karena aku ingin belajar tentang berbagai macam tumbuhan yang ada di ladang tersebut. Ternyata benar, aku banyak belajar dan mengetahui banyak hal dari ladang. Pengalamanku bersama bapak saat itu sangat menyenagkan dan akhirnya aku bersama bapak makan siang dibawah gubuk di ladang kami. Saat kami menikmati makan siang itu kami merasa bahagia karena ditemani angin sepoi-sepoi menyejukkan menambah suasana menjadi lebih berwarna lagi.

*** Cloud Family ***

Once upon a time, there lived a Clouds family. Papa Cloud, Mama Cloud, and Cloud children lived quietly in the sky.

Every morning, the cloud children went to the sky playground to play with the slide. But since there was only one slide, they had to take turns on the slide. Lody, the youngest cloud child, looked impatient. He could not wait for his turn to come. His brother, Tody, didn’t like his attitude. Suddenly, they were quarreling. Their white bodies became gray. It meant they were very angry. When the clouds were angry, water usually came out for their bodies. It meant rain for the people on Earth.

“Stop it, children!” Stop fighting!” Papa Cloud said.

“You can play with the slide in turn. Now, shake hands. Both of you!” ordered Papa Cloud.

Lody and Tody shaked hands and slowly their colour changed. Their bodies became fair white again. The rain stopped and people on Earth could go on their activities again.

GREETING

Selamat Pagi sahabat Lily, kali ini mimin mau ngajakin sahabat Lily khususnya yang masih duduk dibangku sekolah untu belajar bahasa inggris bareng tentang “Greeting” yuk rapatkan barisan dan selamat belajar.

Percakapan sederhana dibawah adalah contoh bagaimana membangun percakapan formal diantara dua orang yang baru bertemu. Percakapan formal kita gunakan ketika kita berhadapan dengan orang yang lebih tua, orang yang baru kita temui atau orang yang secara pangkat lebih tinggi diatas kita seperti pimpinan perusahaan, dosen atau rekan bisnis baru.

Nayla : Good Morning.

Dicky  : Good morning.

Nayla : How are you?

Dicky : I’m good, thanks for asking, how are you?

Nayla : I’m fine, thank you. My name is Nayla , you can call me Ayla.

Dicky : I’m Dicky, you can call me Dic for short. Well, what do you do?

Nayla: I’m a lecturer, I work for Erlangga University. how about you?

Dicky : That’s nice. I work at Gondang 1 Public High School as a Bahasa Indonesia teacher.

Nayla : It’s such a pleasure to meet you today

Dicky : It’s very nice to meet you too Ayla.

Nayla: Goodbye.

PROCEDURE TEXT

GOAT SATAY

Ingredients :

1. 500grams of mutton

2. 10 pieces of shallots

3. 5 votes for garlic

4. 1md coriander

5. 2 pecan nuts

6. 1/2 pieces of Javanese sugar

7. 2 sticks of tamarind

8. the size of a thumb ginger cracked

9. 3 orange leaves

10. 1 / 2s of salt

11. 50ml sweet soy sauce

12. 2sdm of cooking oil

Steps:

60 minutes

1. Blend onion, white onion, candlenut, coriander, java sugar and salt. Add 3/4 of the ingredients to the meat that has been cut into pieces. Give slices and oranges, ginger and tamarind. Squeeze to soak the spices. Leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

2. Skew with tusuka satay and then burn in coals until half cooked. Spread with remaining fine spices, sweet soy sauce and oil. Burn again until done

3. Serve satay with sambal kecap, sliced cabbage and tomatoes as a complement

CARA MEMBACA WAKTU DALAM BAHASA INGGRIS

Selamat malam sahabat Lily.. bagaimana kabarnya? kali ini saya akan memposting tentang CARA MEMBACA WAKTU DALAM BAHASA INGGRIS biar kagak malu ketika ditanya guru atau ketika sedang study tour ketemu bule. what time is it? ini adalah materi pelajaran buat SMP kelas VII semester I.

1.  Cara Formal

Cara berikut ini harus digunakan dalam situasi formal. Seperti saat kita berbicara dengan orang yang tidak dikenal, orang yang lebih tua, atau atasan kita. Berikut adalah cara menyampaikannya.

Contoh:

3:52 – Three fifty-two

9:15 – Nine fifteen

1:40 – One forty

Untuk menit dari 01 sampai 09 kita dapat mengucapkan dengan ‘oh’ atau dibaca ‘O’
Contoh:

10:04 – Eleven ‘oh’ four

2. Cara Informal

Biasanya cara cara ini digunakan ketika kita sedang berbicara tentang waktu dengan sahabat, atau orang yang sudah kita kenal dekat.

Cara ini digunakan dengan cara mengucapkan MENIT terlebih dahulu, baru kemudian JAM. Lalu menggunakan kata “Past” untuk menit 01 sampai 30.

Contoh:
4:14 – Fourteen past four (jam 4 lewat 14 menit)

3:20 – Twenty past three (jam 3 lewat 20 menit)

5:21 – Twenty-one five past five (jam 5 lewat 21 menit)

Untuk menit dari 31 sampai 59 maka mengunakan ‘TO’. Untuk bagian menit yang diucapkan yaitu bagian menit yang kurang untuk ke jam berikutnya. Contohnya, jam 2:50 bukan disebutkan fifty to three, melainkan ten to three.

Contoh:
6:45 – Fifteen to seven (Jam 7 kurang 15 menit)

7:55 – Five to eight (jam 8 kurang 5 menit)

Berikut cara lain saat menggunakan ‘PAST’ dan ‘TO’. Jika 30 menit = Half. Jika 15 Menit = a Quarter

Contoh:
7:15 – a quarter past seven

5:30 – half to six

Jika kalian menyebutkan waktu yang tepat gunakan kata o’clock
Contoh:

7:00 – Seven o’clock = jam tujuh tepat.

Queen Of Arabia and Three Sheiks

Once upon a time there was a queen of Arabia named Maura. Maura is the most beautiful lady who had many suitors. Almost of it counts had discarded one by one, until just three sheiks reduced to the list. Those three were young and handsome. They were strong and also rich. The queen was hard to decide who would be the only one being the best.

One day in the night, Maura disguised herself and went to the sheiks’ camps near her castle. Maura had an idea to made a dinner for them, “Would you like something to eat, sheiks?” asked her. The first gave her some left in the table over food. And the second one gave her something strange, some unappetizing camel’s tail. The last one who named Hakim, offered the most tasty meat and tender.

After the lovely occasion, the queen left the camp.

Then in tomorrow, the queen invited those three sheiks to have a dinner at her castle. She ordered as same as the foods which is given to queen yesterday. The first sheiks who gave all over the food get the same menu. And he ate all the menu by himself. The second one who gave the unappetizing camel’s tail get the same and ate by himself. The third one , hakim, Get the same menu as he gave to the queen, but he didn’t want to eat it if all the people around him could not get too.

The queen was smiling. “Hakim, you are the person who I am searching for, now I announce that Hakim the person I will marry with!”

True Friends

Once upon a time, there were two close friends who were walking through the forest together. They knew that anything dangerous can happen any time in the forest. So they promised each other that they would always be together in any case of danger.

Suddenly, they saw a large bear getting closer toward them. One of them climbed a nearby tree at once. But unfortunately the other one did not know how to climb up the tree. So being led by his common sense, he lay down on the ground breathless and pretended to be a dead man.

The bear came near the one who was lying on the ground. It smelt in his ears, and slowly left the place because the bears do not want to touch the dead creatures. After that, the friend on the tree came down and asked his friend that was on the ground, "Friend, what did the bear whisper into your ears?" The other friend replied, "Just now the bear advised me not to believe a false friend.

Fox and A Cat

One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said.

'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat. 'You should teach me some of yours!'

'Well, maybe some day, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones,' replied the fox airily.

Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder - the dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog. 'This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,' said the cat. 'Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?'

The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces.

The Ant and the Dove

One hot day, an ant was seeking for some water. After walking around for a moment, she came to a spring. To reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her way up, she slipped and fell unintentionally into the water.

She could have sunk if a dove up a nearby tree had not seen her. Seeing that the ant was in trouble, the dove quickly put off a leaf from a tree and dropped it immediately into the water near the struggling ant. Then the ant moved towards the leaf and climbed up there. Soon it carried her safely to dry ground.

Not long after at that, there was a hunter nearby who was throwing out his net towards the dove, hoping to trap it in this way.

Guessing what he should do, the ant quickly bit him on the heel. Feeling the pain, the hunter dropped his net and the dove flew away quickly from this net.

The morality: One good turn deserves another.

The Fox and the Grapes

One afternoon there was a fox that was walking through the forest and spotted a bunch of grapes hanging from over a lofty branch. “Just the thing to quench my thirst,” quoted the fox. Taking a few steps backward, the fox jumped but unfortunately he missed the hanging grapes. Again the fox took a few paces backward, ran, and tried to reach them but he still failed.

Finally, giving up, the fox turned up his nose and said, “They’re probably sour anyway,” and proceeded to walk away.

A Donkey and A Lapdog

Once upon a time there was a farmer who owned a little dog that he keeps constantly by his side and a donkey, which lived in a warm stable and got plenty of fresh grain and sweet hay. But, unfortunately the donkey was not satisfied with his condition.

"I slave all day long, hauling wood or pulling the cart to market while the dog sleeps on the master's lap and eats from his plate!," the donkey grumbled. "Perhaps, he thought, if he behaved like the dog, his master would reward him with the same life of ease.

That very night, the donkey crept out of the stable and into the house where the farmer sat at supper. "First I'll frisk about and chase my tail, just as the dog does," thought the donkey. And he danced about the room, flinging up his hooves until the table toppled over and dishes went flying.

"Now I'll sit on his lap!" said the donkey, and he put his hooves up on the master's chair.

"Help! Save me from this mad beast!" the terrified farmer bellowed. Then his servants came running and, with shouts and blows, drove the donkey back to the stable.

"I suppose I' m a fine donkey, "the donkey lamented," but I' ll never be a lapdog!"

Moral of the Story- What's right for one may be wrong for another. So, never try to copy another person in front of you.

The Bear and The Two Friends

Flock of Doves
Once upon a time, there was a flock of doves that flew in search of food led by their king. They had flown a long distance and were very tired. The smallest dove picked up speed and found some rice scattered beneath a banyan tree. So all the doves landed and began to eat.
Suddenly a net fell over them and they were all trapped. They saw a hunter approaching carrying. The doves desperately fluttered their wings trying to get out, but to no avail. The king had an idea. He advised all the doves to fly up together carrying the net with them.
Each dove picked up a portion of the net and together they flew off carrying the net with them. The hunter looked up in astonishment. He tried to follow them, but they were flying high over hills and valleys. They flew to a hill near a city of temples where there lived a mouse who could help them. He was a faithful friend of the dove king.
The mouse agreed saying that he would set the king free first. The king insisted that he first free his subjects and the king last. The mouse understood the king’s feelings and complied with his wishes. He began to cut the net and one by one all the doves were freed including the dove king.

The Little Mouse

Once upon a time there was a Baby Mouse and Mother Mouse. They lived in a hole in the a big warm house with lots of cheese to eat.
Then, one day, Mother Mouse decided to take Baby Mouse outside of their home. Waiting outside for them was a huge ginger tomcat, licking it’s lips and waiting to eat them both up.
“Mother, Mother! What should we do?” Cried Baby Mouse, clinging to his mother’s tail. Mother Mouse paused, staring up into the beady eyes of the hungry cat. But she wasn’t scared, because she knew exactly how to deal with big, scary cats. She opened her mouth and took in a deep breath.
“Woof! Woof! Bark bark bark!” She shouted, and the cat ran away as fast as he could.
“Wow, Mother! That was amazing!” Baby Mouse said to his mother, smiling happily.
“And that, my child, is why it is always best to have a second language.”

The Rabbit and the Turtle

One day a rabbit was boasting about how fast he could run. He was laughing at the turtle for being so slow.
Much to the rabbit’s surprise, the turtle challenged him to a race. The rabbit thought this was a good joke and accepted the challenge. The fox was to be the umpire of the race. As the race began, the rabbit raced way ahead of the turtle, just like everyone thought.
The rabbit got to the halfway point and could not see the turtle anywhere. He was hot and tired and decided to stop and take a short nap. All this time the turtle kept walking step by step by step. He never quit no matter how hot or tired he got. He just kept going.
However, the rabbit slept longer than he had thought and woke up. He could not see the turtle anywhere! He went at full-speed to the finish line but found the turtle there waiting for him.

Story of Lion and His Fear

whenever he heard a cock crowing.
One day he confessed his fear to the elephant, who was greatly amused. “How can the crowing of a cock hurt you?” he asked the lion. “Think about it!”
Just then a mosquito began circling the elephant’s head. “If it gets into my ear I’m doomed!” he shrieked, flailing at the insect with his trunk. Now it was the lion’s turn to feel amused.

There was a lion who feared nothing except the crowing of cocks. A chill would go down his spine

On August 6th 1945 an atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan by the United States have begun to demoralize the spirit of the Japanese army in the world. A day later the Committee for Preparatory Work for Indonesian Independence BPUPKI, or Dokuritsu Junbi Cosakai, renamed PPKI (Committee for Indonesian Independence) or also called Dokuritsu Junbi Inkai in Japanese, to further confirm the desire and the goal of achieving the independence of Indonesia. On August 9, 1945, the second atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, causing the Japanese surrendered to the United States and its allies. This moment is also used by Indonesia to declare its independence.

Soekarno, Hatta as leader PPKI and Radjiman Wedyodiningrat as a former chairman of BPUPKI flown to Dalat, 250 km northeast side of Saigon, Vietnam to meet Marshal Terauchi. They reported that Japanese troops were on the verge of defeat and will give independence to Indonesia. Meanwhile in Indonesia, on August 10, 1945, Sutan Sjahrir had heard the news over the radio that Japan had surrendered to the Allies. The underground fighters preparing proclaimed Indonesia's independence, and rejected the form of independence given as a gift Japan. On August 12, 1945, Japan by Marshal Terauchi in Dalat, Vietnam, told Sukarno, Hatta and Radjiman that the Japanese government will soon grant independence to Indonesia and the proclamation of independence can be implemented within a few days, depending on how PPKI. Nevertheless the Japanese wanted the independence of Indonesia on August 24. Two days later, when Sukarno, Hatta and Radjiman returned to their homeland from Dalat, Sutan Sjahrir urged Sukarno immediately declare independence because it considers the results of the meeting in Dalat as a ruse Japan, because Japan every moment had to be surrendered to the Allies and to avoid a split in the nationalist camp, between anti and pro-Japanese. Syahrir Hatta told about the meeting in Dalat. Sukarno did not believe that the Japanese had surrendered, and the proclamation of independence of Indonesia when it could lead to bloodshed were great, and can have fatal consequences if the fighters Indonesia is not ready. Soekarno Hatta warned that Sjahrir was not entitled to declare independence because it is the right of the Preparatory Committee for Indonesian Independence (PPKI). Meanwhile Syahrir agency considers PPKI is made in Japan and the proclamation of independence by PPKI only a 'gift' from Japan.

On August 14, 1945 Japan surrendered to the Allies. Army and Navy of Japan was still in power in Indonesia because Japan has promised to restore power in Indonesia into Allied hands. Sutan Sjahrir, Wikana, Dervish, and Chairul Saleh heard this news through the BBC radio. After hearing rumors of Japan would bend the knees, a young group urged the elderly to immediately proclaim the independence of Indonesia. However, the elderly do not want to rush. They do not want the bloodshed at the time of the proclamation. Consultation was conducted through meeting PPKI. All young people do not approve of the meeting, considering PPKI is a body established by the Japanese. They wanted independence for the efforts of our own nation and not giving Japan. Soekarno and Hatta went to the military authorities of Japan (Gunsei) to obtain confirmation of his office at Koningsplein (Merdeka Square). But the office was empty. Soekarno and Hatta together Soebardjo then to the office Bukanfu, Rear Admiral Maeda, at Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara (Maeda house on Jl Imam Bonjol 1). Maeda welcome them with congratulations on their success in Dalat. As he answered he had not received the confirmation and was still awaiting instructions from Tokyo. Returning from Maeda, Sukarno and Hatta immediately prepare a meeting of the Preparatory Committee for Indonesian Independence (PPKI) on August 16 at 10 am the next day at the office Pejambon Road No 2 to discuss all things related to the preparation of the Declaration of Independence. A day later, the pressure fluctuation which requires takeover launched in Indonesia became the youth of some golongan.Rapat PPKI on August 16 at 10 am was not held because of Sukarno and Hatta did not appear. The meeting participants did not know the event has occurred Rengasdengklok.
